CARPET (INDOOR BIAS) BOWLS

The ladies and men operated very successful carpet bowls events during the winter and summer months,  and are integral parts of our activities.  The carpet bowls members were invited to play for the inaugural Jimmy Dight Memorial Trophy for Open Singles,  and it was taken out by John Edmondson.

On Wednesday afternoons during the 2011 winter the club again registered teams in each of the two Divisions.  Division 1 played in the grand final and had a great season.  Division 2 did well. 

Our club also fielded teams in the Wednesday evening competition with Division 2 wining the pennant.

With financial assistance from the State Government the club extended the Dining Room,  and this will provide a major improvement for carpet bowls during this summer,  and winter next year.
